Allium – atropurpureum

Deep purple flowers on strong stems. Alliums are one of the last of the autumn bulbs to flower, so they can bring a mass of colour to the garden in late spring. Their magnificent shapes on strong stems can be used in many garden schemes. Ideal to plant in herbaceous borders. This variety is also suitable for containers.

Allium – caeruleum (syn azureum) AGM

Clear blue round flowers that are ideal for cut flowers. Like most of the taller alliums this variety can also be used for dried flowers. If planted in semi-shade the flowers will last longer. Alliums provide an abundance of colour long after the spring flowers have faded.

Allium – Cernuum

This variety of allium has up to 20 hanging deep rose pink flowers from stems that are 40cm high. This is a new variety to our range and is a recommended addition to any garden. The flowers are very attractive to bees.

Allium – cristophii (syn albopilosum) AGM

This allium has amethyst/pink flower heads that at the tips are up to 50cms across. These large star shaped flowers are set on strongl stems. Superb addition to any garden. They can be left from year to year to flower again and are also good for growing in containers and as a cut flower.

Allium – Forelock

This was a new addition to our range last year and is still not readily available in the UK as yet. The round flower heads show an unusual band around their middle 'like a Forelock'. An excellent addition to any garden and very good for cut flowers.

Allium – Hair

This is a very unusual form of Allium. Allium Hair has a purple heart at the centre of unusual flowers. This variety is ideal for cut flower and will bring a touch of difference to any garden. Alliums can be planted with asiatic lilies, hostas and peonies for example.

Allium – karataviense Ivory Queen

This is a lovely short variety of the Allium family. Allium Ivory Queen produces dense white flowers on 20cm stems. As such they produce a carpet of white flowers in late spring. Because of their short stems they are ideal for planting in containers.

Allium – Purple Sensation AGM

This is one of the most popular of the alliums. The flower spikes are a deep violet purple, forming a round head. Like all alliums they are easy to grow and add a lot of structure to any formal planting. Alliums provide an abundance of colour long after other spring bulbs have come and gone. This variety can also be grown in containers.

Allium – schubertii

This allium is one of our favourites as the flowers are pretty spectacular. Schubertii produces wide umbels that are 4"-6" of star shaped, pink-red flowers. Alliums prefer semi-shade and a well drained soil. They can however be grown in full sun and if planting in wet soils add a handful of grit to the hole before planting. Alliums can be left undisturbed for many years, This one is particularly good in pots.

Commonly known as 'drumsticks' this allium has dark purple long lasting flowers. Alliums provide an abundance of colour in the garden, their flowers are also very attractive to bees and can also be used as a cut flower. Alliums can be left to flower year after year.

Allium – Summer Drummer

Summr Drummer is a welcomed addition to our range. The flowers are a lovely light purple with each floret tipped with a creamy white edge. Alliums perform very well with early flowering perennials and are also popular with bees. Flower head can be over 15cm across.

Amaryllis – belladonna

Also known as the 'JERSEY LILY' The rosy pink fragrant flowers bloom on top of sturdy stalks. Prefers a warm aspect of the garden. Can also be grown in pots in the conservatory or greenhouse. Plant the bulbs just below the surface in a well drained, south facing aspect.

Calochortus – Violet Queen

These are very beautiful bulbs, commonly called 'Globe Lily'. The flowers are a warm violet. Although they are unusual, they are relatively easy to grow when planted in a sunny spot, in light sandy soil.

Camassia – quamash (syn esculenta)

This variety produces soft violet-blue flowers. It is an excellent naturaliser and provides a lovely array of colour in late spring. Camassia are excellent for planting in shady places or naturalising in grass. Best planted in well drained soil but will also tolerate dampish ground.

Chionodoxa – forbesii AGM

Commonly called 'Glory of the Snow', chinodoxa have gentle blue flowers with white centres. These bulbs are among the earliest to flower. Excellent for naturalising. Flowers well in sun or partial shade.

Chinodoxa alba is a great addition to any garden. They are commonly known as 'Glory of the Snow' and are amongst the earliest bulbs to flower. This variety has very attractive pure white flowers. They flower well in full sun or partial shade and are excellent for naturalising.

Chionodoxa – Violet Beauty

Chinodoxa are commonly called 'Glory of the Snow' as they are amongst the earliest bulbs to flower. This variety is a stunning new one with soft bluish-violet flowers. They are very useful as they flower in the sun or partial shade. Chinodoxa also naturalise very well.

Large purple flowers. This variety flowers a little later than the chrysanthus types and have much larger blooms. They are the most suited for naturalising in grassland but can of course be used anywhere to brighten up the garden. Crocus – Mixed Crocus

A supreme mix of crocus. Purple, Blue, Yellow, White and Striped. This superb mix will provide an abundance of colour.These varieties are the most popular of the crocus.They are a bit taller than the chrysanthus types and have much larger blooms. Ideal for naturalising in any part of the garden, but they do not like boggy areas.

Silvery white flowers with lilac stripes. These varieties flower a little later than the chrysanthus types and have much larger blooms. Flowers are a peachy yellow inside, with a bluish violet stripe/yellow outside. The stamens are an attractive bright orange. Like all crocus they naturalise well and as such provide an abundance of colour each year.

This variety has flowers with a light blue outside and creamy white inside. They are ideal to use in containers or in any garden aspect that is free draining. This unusual variety has outside petals of purple-violet with a white margin. The inside is a pale lilac. These flowers are especially long lasting. As with all crocus they prefer a free draining soil and are good naturalisers.

These delightful hybrids produce smaller flowers than the Dutch large flowering kind but in a much wider range of colours. They also flower a little earlier in February-March and are easy to grow and are excellent naturalisers.

Crocus – Chrysanthus – sieberi subsp.sublimis Tricolor AGM

This is a superb variety. The base of the flower has a bright orange/yellow look. The petals are lilac/blue being clearly divided by a white band. The stamens are bronze-burgundy. An ideal variety for naturalising.

Soft purple flowers, very vigorous. Ruby giant is one of the most popular varieties of crocus because of its soft purple flowers. They are also ideal for naturalising bringing an abundance of colour to your garden from early January (dependant of course on the weather).

Cyclamen are still one of the most popular species requested. This cyclamen is hardy and produces lovely pink flowers, with wonderful variegated leaves. Cyclamen naturalise very well and can be planted under trees, in short grass, borders or rockeries. They also look very good in containers. Depending on the season these may be supplied in pots.

Pencrebar is a new addition to our range this year although it has been available for a few years. The double flowers are a deep golden yellow. This is a dwarf double variety and has proven to be an excellent performer in our garden.

This variety is a lovely golden yellow and was bred as a double King Alfred. These flowers offer a bit of difference to the traditional trumpet varieties. They do not stand up well in very windy areas, but can be used as cut flowers for the home. Naturalises very well.

Multi-headed yellow petals with a golden yellow cup. One of the best and most readily known varieties available. This is an excellent variety for pots, but of course it also very good in the garden were it naturalises very well. This dwarf variety is very early flowering. The petals are yellow and reflexed with a deep orange trumpet. This is an excellent variety for containers and the garden. Best planted in groups of 10 or more.

This is a very old variety and really has stood the test of time. Peeping Tom is a deep golden yellow, with a long narrow trumpet and reflexed petals. Very good for containers and also the garden. Naturalises particularly well and can thus be left undisturbed for years.

Daffodils and Narcissi – Dwarf Narcissi (Cyclamineus) – Toto AGM

Often referred to as the white Tete a Tete although that is not the case. This variety is very distinctive and produces one to three flower heads per stem. The outer petals and perianth are both pure white. Good addition to any garden, but it is limited in supply.

Daffodils and Narcissi – Dwarf Narcissi (Jonquilla) – Baby Moon

This is a very nice dwarf narcissi. Baby Moon produces dwarf yellow multi-headed flowers (1 to 3 flowers per stem). Scented flowers are small but look wonderful. Bulbs can be grown in containers or the garden, looks great in rockeries or at the front of borders.

This dwarf narcissi has an ivory white perianth, with a delicate soft pink cup. It is also fragrant and as such is a very good all round variety. Ideal for rockeries and containers, but also very good in any garden position. A good naturaliser.

A very distinct variety, which is very fragrant. The greenish/white outer petals, lead into a light greenish/yellow corona. This variety produces one to three flowers per stem. Good in pots and the garden, it also naturalises very well.

A highly fragrant variety which produces multiple flowers per stem. The flowers have yellow golden outer petals (perianths) with a bright orange centre. The petals on 'Sun Disc' are very unique as they are disc shapped, ribbed and lightly frilled, with a sulphur yellow look. The centre corona is a much darker yellow. They also have a slight fragrance. Good for pots and containers. Naturalises very well.

A stunning new introduction. The bulbs normally produce 3 stems each with up to 7 highly fragrant golden yellow flowers. This is a superb garden plant and also performs well in containers. Baby Boomer will naturalise very well and can be left for many years undisturbed.
