Get in the mood for 2023 with our recommendation of glorious pink blooms to grow this summer. At direct bulbs we have put together a list of our favourite pink flowers for the garden.

Dahlias

Dahlias will bring the sunshine to your garden all summer long and well into the autumn. Classic dahlias such Onesta as is a great addition to any summer border, this decorative flowered dahlia adds a burst of colour to your planting scheme. Dahlia Mingus Randy is fantastic with it’s salmon pink and centre of creamy yellow. Lilies

Lilies are one of the most attractive summer flowering plants and can be left undisturbed for years. They will only need to be moved when they become overcrowded. Our selection of yellow lilies include asiatics, trumpet and double/pollen free types.

Lily Josephine is a gorgeous soft pink flower with a soft white stripe down each petal and being an Oriental will give a wonderful perfume. Pink Perfection is a majestic trumpet lily with stunning pink flowers hued darker on the outside of the petals. Classic Oriental lily Stargazer is a superb addition to any garden.

Begonias

There are so many more ways to bring a burst of yellow colour to your garden. Begonias are ideal for beds, borders, pots and hanging baskets and will flower all summer long. Best started off in the greenhouse but once planted out and established they require minimum maintenance.
