A superb variety with white petals and an orange/yellow split corona.
Butterfly narcissi as they where once known are quite a superb group of narcissi. They are now called split corona narcissi and the characteristics of the flowers are very distinctive and colourful. Easy to grow and will naturalise well in most well drained soils. In heavier soils add grit or organic matter to aid drainage. Grow in semi-shade to full sun and remember to feed during the leaf and flower stage with bone meal, well rotted compost or water in tomatoe food. Cultivate the soil to a depth of at least 20cms and plant bulb 15cms deep and 10-15cms apart. Grow with mid season tulips, muscari or garden hyacinths.
