The flowers of Snow Queen are as the name suggests a pure white. Like many Achimenes the flowers are very petite and standout on any windowsill. For continuous flowering we suggest planting at least 5 tubers in a 13cm pot in good potting compost. Keep them moist in a light warm area, but not in direct sunlight. They can be left to flower in the same pot for a number of years, just remember to feed during flowering. Allow to go dormant over the winter period after the flowers and foliage have died right back.
Plant tubers 1.5cms deep and 2.5cms apart in a well drained soil. Keep pots indoors in a warm bright spot.
Achimenes are best grown indoors and watered with tepid water.
Aspect: Windowsill or conservatory in a warm spot.
Soil Type: Use a indoor compost for the best results.
