This group of plants are better known for the striking leaves that they produce. Arum creticum has superb pale yellow to deep lemon spathes. It is a very good performer in woodland areas. The spathe of Arum Creticum will open purplish or green. They are very hardy and as such very useful in the colder parts of the garden as well. All though they look strange they are easy to grow and can be left undisturbed for many years. Arum creticum will grow very well with things such as anemone blandas and trilliums as well as martagon lilies.
