Aster Ostrich plume will produce stunning large double blooms. The blooms are also feathered and re curved in habit and this along with its prolific nature make Aster ostrich plume an excellent choice for growing.
Early sowing of seeds need to be done under cover in March to April.
Sow direct into soils April to May in open well cultivated ground or alternatively a cold frame. Once grown thin out the seedlings to 5cms apart.
Transplant out when strong enough, spacing then 25-30cms apart and they will flower from July to October dependant on planting times.
Ideally plant out into well cultivated soils that are moist but will freely drain. This is a hardy annual providing an abundance of flowers and ideal for cut-flower.
