Bright red flowers on bronze coloured foliage. When planting, cannas are best started into growth by April indoors and planted out in May, although they can be planted direct into the soil when the fear of frosts have passed. They provide spectacular colour in any garden and can be overwintered for flowering the following year. In warm gardens with good drainage they may survive over winter in the garden but if in doubt lift and store over winter. Use yellow sulpher on the rhizomes to help storage.
