Remembrance crocus produce flowers that are a deep violet blue. We supply large grade bulbs which help the crocus to naturalise much quicker for future years flowers They bring lovely early spring colour to the garden. Large flowering or Dutch crocus as this group is often referred to are the taller of the crocus and well suited for growing in grassland, lawns or similar although of course they work really well in containers or in areas of the garden that they are grown in. Crocus naturalise very well and as such can be left undisturbed for many years. They bring early colour to the garden flowering in February/March and of course work well with many plants and bulbs. Cultivate the soil well before planting and ensure they have plenty of food during the leaf and flower stage. If not using your own rotted compost then feed with bone meal or tomato feed.
