Bantling is a great example of a pompon dahlia with lovely round orange vibrant flowers. These dahlias are a really superb group and one of our most popular groups. Dahlias are fantastic for providing colour for any garden and are easy to grow. Ensure you protect the young shoots from slugs and snails. They can be started off indoors from February to March and planted out after the fear of frost has passed which is normally late March to April. Alternatively store in a cool frost free environment and plant direct into the garden from end of March onwards.

Our Tip: Dahlias can be left out over winter in well drained soils, just mulch to give added protection.
