This is a delicate porcelain blue colour of hyacinth with masses of flowers. Multiflora hyacinths are not one full spike of flowers but several smaller spikes with less flowers for a more natural look in your border or tub. They work really well if you plant in groups of 3 or more in a pot or in the border. Hyacinths flower in March/April and will provide a huge amount of fragrance to the garden. Cultivate soils to a depth of 20cms or more and plant bulbs 10cms deep and 8cms apart in soils that have moderate fertility. They are fully hardy in free draining soils so can be left to over winter.
Aspect: Prefer full sun but also happy in semi shade
Soil type: Moderate fertilised soils that are free draining
