Large apricot salmon flowers on a pale green stem. This is one of the more unusual colours of hyacinth. This variety, like all hyacinths, is easy to grow and is very fragrant. Hyacinths are more often used in container displays and sometimes for indoor flowering. They are however excellent in the garden and underestimated for the colour and fragrance they bring to the garden. Cultivate the soil to a depth of 20cms and add grit to heavier soils to aid drainage, they enjoy the sunnier parts of the garden. Easy to grow and are fully hardy. Remove flowers when they turn brown and leave the foliage to dieback naturally.
