Some of the most fragrant of all flowers. Indoor hyacinth Woodstock has gorgeous beetroot coloured flowers and is a real tonic to see growing in the winter months. These hyacinths have received a special treatment to ensure flowering indoors. They are easy to grow and bring colour and fragrance to the home in the winter months. If planted in September, they will flower by Christmas. Try growing them in glasses rather than in compost – all they need is water!
To start off your prepared hyacinths, plant in bowls or pots with the tips showing (we do send out full growing instructions with all our bulbs). After planting put in a dark cool place for approx 10-12 weeks. The bulbs can then be brought indoors in early December when the tips of the flowers are 1.5-2cms above the neck of the bulb.
