First found growing in South Africa, Schizostylis are excellent plants for autumn colour. They are ideal whether planted in the garden or glasshouse. Rosea is a vigorously growing variety and will form clumps. For the best performance it will require sun and moist, fertile soil. It has grass-like, mid-green foliage, and produces late-flowering spikes of large, colourful flowers. Great as a cut flower.
